Введение. В последнее десятилетие острые химические отравления вошли в число актуальных медико-социальных проблем. Значительную часть всех несчастных случаев у взрослого и детского населения занимают различные виды острых отравлений. Анализ проблемы показал, что вопрос химического отравления в отечественной и зарубежной литературе изучен недостаточно. Кроме того в разных странах существует определенная специфика химических отравление. Результаты эпидемиологических исследований в соседних странах свидетельствуют о нарастании распространённости острых отравлений в целом. Необходимость уменьшения частоты отравлений, а также снижения летальности от них ставят перед медицинской наукой задачу изыскания действенных профилактических мер.
Цель исследования. Учитывая актуальность и практическую значимость данной проблемы, целью исследования явилось изучение частоты острых отравлений химической этиологии в Азербайджанской Республике в период от 1 января 2014-го года до 31 декабря 2016-го года.
