Features of Hemophilia Disease Spread in Economic and Administrative Districts

Abstract

Purpose of the study. Studying the characteristics of the level of hemophilia in the economic and administrative regions of Azerbaijan.
Materials and Methods. The presented part of the research is presented in four economic (Nakhchivan, Lankaran, Shaki-Zagatala, Guba-Khachmaz) and 17 administrative (Balakan, Zagatala, Gakh, Sheki, Oguz, Gabala, Astara, Lankaran, Lerik, Yardimli, Masalli , Jalilabad, Gusar, Khachmaz, Guba, Shabran, Siyazan). As a preliminary information, the hemophilia registry of the Hematology Department of the Azerbaijan State Doctors Improvement Institute has been used in the Hematology Department of the Republican Clinical Hospital and its base.
The number of registered hemophilia patients at the end of 2015 in these regions is grouped according to age (0-4, 5-13, 14-18, 19-44, 45+) and 100,000 individual age groups has been made. Information on population age in the regions was taken from the official site of the State Statistical Committee.
The statistical processing of data was carried out with the help of the "data analysis" envelope of the Excel version with the quality analysis methods. The dynamics of hemoglobin levels dependent on the age of the population were evaluated by the smallest quadratic method, and regression equations were chosen which provided a good approximation of the main trend.
Results. Data on the spread of haemophilia among the population of different age groups in Shaki-Zagatala, Lankaran, Guba-Khachmaz and Nakhchivan economic regions are presented in Table 1.
