Abstract

Cervical cancer (CRC) is one of the few malignancies that meet the necessary requirements for population screening. This disease is widespread, it is one of the most common malignant tumors in women, although it is relatively easy to identify by visual examination, in some cases the disease is detected in late stages. A reliable screening test is available for UBC, such as cytological examination of smears taken from the cervix and cervical canal; it is possible to identify pre-cancerous conditions and cancer of the cervix in the early stages by carrying out the indicated examination method. Human papillomavirus (HPV) is the main cause of cervical cancer. Especially types 16 and 18, which are highly oncogenic types of IPV, are detected in more cases. Therefore, the discovery of the causes of the spread of IPV is of great epidemiological importance and creates conditions for the development and implementation of effective preventive measures for this disease.
