The effect of chemotherapy on radio-morphological indicators of metastatic axillary lymph nodes in breast cancer patients

Abstract

Metastases to the axillary lymph nodes in breast cancer (BSC) patients have an important prognostic value and affect the survival indicators of patients. Depending on the characteristics of the first tumor and the number of metastatic regional lymph nodes and pathological changes, patients are prescribed nonadjuvant or adjuvant chemotherapy as part of complex treatment, as well as hormonal therapy.
