Pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment algorithms of metastatic ovarian tumors

Abstract

Metastatic tumors of the ovary are tumors that develop in an organ outside the ovary and then spread to the ovary. In clinical reports and autopsy protocols of patients diagnosed with a malignant ovarian tumor, 5-30% of cases were found to have metastatic tumors of the ovary [1].
