This publication is a review of materials on the need to study the needs of patients with schizophrenia, as well as their family members in the context of a biopsychosocial model. The importance of studying the burden of the disease on family members of the patient, as well as satisfaction with services in terms of evaluating the end results, is emphasized. Recommendations are given on using appropriate scales to identify needs.
